Shorebird Education and Awareness.

Our beaches are home to resident beach nesting shorebirds, including the endangered Hooded Plover. Our volunteers take part in surveys each year to monitor the breeding success and survival of Hooded Plover chicks.

Our beaches are also home to migratory shorebirds who come to rest and feed around our coastline over the summer before flying on their amazing journeys back to the other side of the world.
