Our Coastcare volunteers started working with Lake Wangary School again in 2015 to undertake revegetation work at Greenly Beach. In 2017 we put out the challenge to get over 1000 seedlings planted at Greenly Beach for World Environment Day.  Thanks to the community support we achieved this and there was overwhelming support to make the day, at a greatly loved area of the coast, an annual event. In 2023 we held our 7th public planting day with ~ 1600 seedlings planted, and another 300 seedlings on a follow up day.

For the first few planting days we also held some nature art activities, some of which was the rock art maze started by community artist Karen Carr in 2019 and the eagle rock art completed in 2018. They are not only nature art installations but also practical erosion control management pieces.
