Science by the Sea

Science by the Sea brings together researchers from Flinders and Adelaide Universities and local environmental groups currently probing, sampling, observing, mapping and measuring the marine life and oceanographic processes in Coffin Bay. 

The line-up includes

  • Janine Baker (Marine Janine): Marine Hitchhikers of Southern Eyre Peninsula.

  • Dr Adrian Werner, Flinders University, “The threat to Coffin Bay from nutrient enrichment” recent findings.

  • Dr Dom McAfee (a.k.a the oyster nerd), Adelaide University, native Angasi Oyster Reefs on Coffin Bay, exciting update

  • Discussion with all including local community conservation groups Lower Eyre Coastcare and Eyrelab
