The first edition of Shores and Shallows of Coffin Bay was published in December 2009.
LECCA received funding to assist with printing the book. It is a wonderful record of the diversity of life around the coastline of Lower Eyre Peninsula, particularly the shallow bay environments and Coffin Bay in particular. It highlights the need to protect the environments that support this amazing variety of life.
In 2010, together with the Lower Eyre Pest Management Group, we published Grow Me Instead: A guide for coastal gardeners on Eyre Peninsula.
The guide encourages gardeners to keep an eye on introduced garden plants that have become weeds in the coastal environments of Eyre Peninsula. Gardeners are encouraged to replace the potential weeds with local native plants.
